Entertainment unleashed – The Commonwealth Games 2014

Entertainment cluster unleashed !! Yes, its been just 2 weeks we had witnessed the fabulous FIFA Worldcup. Now, yet again, its time for another sports carnival, The commonwealth 2014.

Dear Learnof patrons, hold your breathe to witness another sports festival, the event  had started already and people are excited to watch the biggest amusement of Glasgow. The whole world is going merry over ongoing  joviality. Glasgow, The largest city of Scotland is going to host the 20th commonwealth games, so the official name is ”XX commonwealth games-Glasgow 2014”.

With around 6000 participating athletes from 71 countries are going to make this event as one of the largest commonwealth games event of all time. It is expected around 1.5 billion people across the world could watch the coverage of the 2014 commonwealth games.

Its a pride moment For Scotland, As This event is a matter of their legacy , as they are looking for the new opportunities for learners, people, businesses and organisations, They have designed an education program called game on Scotland for all. The officials claim that, “It has been designed to enable schools and educators to use the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games as an inspiring, relevant and fun context for learning across the curriculum and for all ages” , and encouraging everyone to participate in this event.

So, people are using games as a context for learning new things and avail new opportunities.  That’s a great strategy, isn’t it? Already, there a lot of buzz is going in and around our team, everyone is excited about which country is going to grab the most number of medals.
