Doctoral Research in Marketing and Behavioral Sciences

The objective of the FDP is to help participants get a head start in their doctoral research. The specific objectives are:

  • To understand the purpose, process and expected outcomes of doctoral research and develop a research mindset.
  • To develop the flair for reading & critiquing research articles.
  • To get exposed to some of the research approaches and techniques used in marketing and other behavioral areas.

Cancellation Policy

Course eligibility

Target Audience

Faculty in Marketing Management and other Behavioral Science Areas. The program is designed for faculty members interested taking up doctoral research work in marketing (and other behavioral sciences areas in management such as HR and Behavioral Finance/Economics). The program will also be useful for teachers offering courses in research methods or marketing research. Candidates are advised to come prepared by identifying probable research topics in the area of interest and reading relevant research literature to the extent possible. Candidates are also encouraged to send their research proposal along with their applications for the program, which may be used in selecting the participants for the program.
