About the course

In Accounting 101, we will introduce the student to basic accounting concepts including the three major financial statements, namely the balance sheet, the income statement and the statement of cash flows. These statements collectively aim to reflect the health of a business. We will also develop some intermediate concepts which should help you take more informed and financial-data-driven business decisions.
