In this program, you will learn essential skills, including how to navigate the Outlook interface, which includes the ribbon, tabs, groups, and commands. The program also teaches you how to work with the backstage view, set up accounts, write messages, work with calendars and contacts, create tasks and notes, and set up signatures and themes. You will also learn how to toggle between multiple inboxes, use filtering, search folders, and archive.

Requirements

This program can only be taken on a PC. It is not Mac compatible. It is compatible with Windows XP and later operating systems, IE 8 and later browsers, Chrome 5 and later browsers, Firefox 3 and later browsers, and Safari 3 and later browsers. We highly recommend that you use Firefox or Chrome in place of other web browsers. Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required for this program. You can download the applications below.

You will need Microsoft Outlook 2013 for this program. If you do not have Microsoft Outlook 2013 installed, you can download a free trial offer of Microsoft Office, which includes Outlook 2013. Individual lessons from each manual can be downloaded as PDFs within the program.

Prerequisites

Students should be familiar with using a personal computer, mouse, and keyboard. They should be comfortable in a Windows environment, and have the ability to launch and close activities and navigate to information stored on the computer. They should also have an ability to manage files and folders.
