We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the collection of personal information is limited to that which is necessary to fulfill the purposes identified below. If we use your information in a manner different than the purpose for which it is collected, then we will ask you for your consent prior to such use.
Account information. If you create an account to take advantage of the full range of services offered on Learnof, we ask for and record personal information such as your name and email address. We use your email address to send you updates, news, and newletters (if you willingly subscribe to the newsletter during signup, or anytime after sign up) and contact you on behalf of other users (such as other users who send you compliments, personal messages, or favorite reviews).
Telephone numbers. Learnof also provides you with the facility of sms discount coupons. Learnof reserves the right to share the phone number on which the coupon was sent to with the business whose coupon was downloaded. This is done to ensure that only legitimate discount coupon downloads are used at the business. Otherwise, any telephone number entered as part of the account information and which has not downloaded an sms discount coupon will not be shared with any third party. Some restaurants also use Learnof IVR systems to help customers connect to their businesses. In order to increase Learnof's value to its customers, Learnof may use these phone numbers of customers obtained through the IVR for marketing relevant restaurant and food information. However, Learnof assures that this information will not be made public or sold to any third party. Only the restaurant business that a particular customer connects to will have access to specific information about that customer. Learnof is not liable for misuse of this information by these specific restaurant businesses or persons related to these restaurant businesses.
